Innovative Rhabdom™ Processor Architecture

Our innovative Rhabdom™ architecture is extremely efficient in computation and data exchange for video applications, allowing real-time processing of high definition video to be implemented on low-cost FPGA devices, whose logic resource and memory bandwidth are both limited. Comparably, from industry experience, it usually requires high-end SoC and high speed DDR to achieve similar tasks. More than that, our architecture is extendible for more video channels, with linear growth of logic resource consumption.

Furthermore, consideration for extendibility starting at the very beginning of Rhabdom™ design is not only across channels, but also within the processing pipe. More inner-frame and/or inter-frame processing can be easily inserted when necessary, no matter how far or how scattered the pixel data are organized in memory layout.

EIS Technology for the future

Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) has been used for decades. However, it's still under-evaluated for its importance comparing to traditional gimbal or optical systems.

Get smaller

EIS component shrinks, while mechanical and optical devices are intrinsically hard to do so at mobile scale.

Be intelligent

Image algorithms continue bringing more magic as computation power grows.

Go advanced

Capture quality of image sensors continue benefiting from technology evolution of semiconductor industry.

Look vast

Multi camera and VR living applications are introducing more demands.
